The Buksa tribe, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) residing in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, India, is facing significant challenges due to climate change. This research investigates the impacts of climate change on their livelihoods, health, and cultural practices. Findings reveal that changing rainfall patterns, rising temperatures, and extreme weather events have disrupted traditional agricultural practices, leading to food insecurity and economic hardship. Moreover, climate change has exacerbated health risks such as waterborne diseases and heat-related illnesses. The Buksa tribe's cultural heritage, deeply intertwined with their natural environment, is also under threat. To mitigate these impacts, the study recommends the implementation of climate-resilient agricultural practices, improved healthcare infrastructure, and cultural preservation initiatives tailored to the specific needs of the Buksa community.
