Abstract

Biophilic design, which incorporates natural elements into the built environment, has been shown to improve mental well-being. This research paper will explore the impact of biophilic design on mental well-being in urban environments. It will review existing literature on biophilic design and mental health, and then present a case study of a building that incorporates biophilic design principles. The paper will conclude by discussing the potential benefits of biophilic design for improving mental well-being in cities.
