RCC flat slab structures are popular in construction for their adaptable design and space efficiency. However, they can be susceptible to seismic activity, requiring effective measures for strengthening. This study investigates the use of steel braces to enhance the seismic performance of RCC flat slab buildings. Through a detailed analysis employing linear static and dynamic methods, the research evaluates how steel braces can mitigate structural response and bolster seismic resilience. Different configurations of steel bracing, including varying bay locations and design parameters, are scrutinized. The results underscore the potential of steel braces as a lateral load-resisting system for flat slab structures, offering both enhanced seismic strength and architectural flexibility.
