The rapid advancements in technology have underscored the critical importance of digital literacy and equitable access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) for fostering societal inclusion and development. This study examines the digital divide in Assam, India, a region characterized by its socio-cultural diversity and varying degrees of technological accessibility. Focusing on the influence of gender, age, social groups, and education, the research utilizes data from the Multiple Indicator Survey (MIS) of the NSS 78th round to analyze ICT skills among individuals aged 15 and above in both rural and urban settings. A multinomial logistic regression model was employed to explore the disparities in digital literacy levels.
